* Volunteering *

Unfortunately volunteering directly with the horses isn’t currently an option, as the horses are either privately agisted, or in foster care on private property. We hope to make this a possibility in the future.

At different times we do need help with other tasks. Manning market stalls, selling fundraising items, collecting/delivering items, photographing the animals in care etc. If you can help in this way, we'd love to hear from you.

* Financial assistance *

​

If you would like to help us financially, contributions can be made directly to our vets or feed store. This helps greatly, as these are our two biggest ongoing costs.

You can also sponsor Coudia Equine for $10 a week, and you will receive regular photo updates on the animals you are helping, to go into your sponsor photo album.

* Foster care *

​

Occastionally we need foster carers for horses, dogs or cats. Foster carers allow us to care for more animals. All costs are covered by Coudia Equine, including food, veterinary treatment etc. A foster carer needs to be able to provide a safe, loving environment for the animal they are caring for, the rest is taken care of by Coudia Equine. * Adoption *

Looking for a new pet? Please consider adoption!

At Coudia Equine we ultimately want to rehome those animals in our care, once they are healthy and happy. We want to see them loved and enjoying life in their new forever homes. Adoptions allow us the room to take in the next animal needing assistance.

* Fundraising *

Do you have a great fundraising idea? Please, share it with us! We are always looking for new ways to help cover the costs of the care of the animals.

 

Have unwanted items laying around at home that you wish to donate? Please do! We operate a separate fundraising page on Faceook where we sell donated items to raise funds for the rescue. Time permitting, we also take these items along to local markets to sell.

Have a few minutes spare? Sharing our social media posts greatly helps us with exposure. It helps to make people aware of Coudia Equine, and what we do.  

Please share our posts of animals up for adoption. This can help us to find their perfect home sooner, which will also clear a spot for the next animal in need to come into care. Please share our posts asking for help, you never know who may see it and be able to assist with what is needed.

* Assisted Desexing Program *

Did you know Coudia Equine has an Assisted Desexing Program for low income pet owners?

As it is still in it's early days, it is currently only available to residents of the Gladstone Region (QLD), and only available for cats. We hope to expand to dogs in the future, and if possible, to other regions.
